"'You must be born from above.' The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." - John 3:7-8

Easter Sunday marked 11 days since I left the confines of my house. I missed Palm Sunday, the Chrism Mass, and the entire Easter Triduum. No singing. No choir. No sacraments. 2 weeks of illness upon illness. 2 weeks of weakness and suffering. Instead of anger or resentment the Holy Spirit provided peace and perspective. My Lenten Virtue Challenge culminated in releasing control over my spiritual life and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead me into the passion, death, & resurrection of Our Lord His way not mine. . .

Happy Divine Mercy Sunday! "Beloved . . . This is the one who came through water and blood, Jesus Christ, not by water alone, but by water and blood.- 1 John 5:6

“Jesus: ‘My child, life on earth is a struggle indeed; a great struggle for my kingdom. But fear not, because you are not alone. I am always supporting you, so lean on Me as you struggle, fearing nothing. Take the vessel of trust and draw from the fountain of life – for yourself, but also for other souls, especially such as are distrustful of My goodness.’” (No. 1488)
Jesus, I trust in You.
